Building partner and customer relationships doesn’t stop with your sales, marketing, and customer service staff. It extends to all of your employees across all departments. Have you thought about how to leverage the whole company to build your business?
Here’s an example of how we do it at Axcient. Our accounting team subscribes to the belief that every vendor is a potential customer, that every partner starts with at least one end user…and if taken care of, will add more end users. So we focus our efforts on providing the best possible experience. When our partners and vendors have a great experience with us, it directly impacts their perceptions of our company and our services.
Over the course of the next several months I will be writing about how we have approached this within the Axcient accounting department as we build our business. I’ll probably be sharing some war stories about surviving the addition of a new accounting system while closing out the month, quarter and year…and how we kept our sanity in the process! And, what accounting blog would be complete without the relevant “hot” accounting topics of the day, which, I promise to keep to a minimum unless you tell me otherwise.
