Building the Axcient Community: Women of the Channel Denver

By Kaitlyn Langer

My first job in technology was as a Marketing Coordinator for Axcient (then eFolder) which I discovered through a college friend. I had never heard of the IT channel before the initial interview, but I was interested in the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. I quickly learned that the channel is more than just technology and has an entrepreneurial spirit to it with a strong emphasis on connecting and community.

As part of an initiative to engage more women in the technology community, The Channel Company has put together a roadshow of regional summits, Women of The Channel On the Road, to celebrate and connect women who are involved in the channel. In the spirit of community, Axcient launched a parallel program to sponsor women in these regions to attend these summits and benefit from the content and comradery provided.

If you know women who are a part of the IT Channel in Denver metro areas, please consider nominating them (or yourself!) for the August event. If the nominee is chosen, Axcient will sponsor them to attend the event and peer networking session providing growth opportunities as a professional in the IT industry.

Questions about the nomination process or about the event? Please contact myself at klanger@axcient.com.
