The Axcient manufacturing team is committed to delivering quality products to our partners and customers.  In the manufacturing world, there are many acronyms.  One of the more popular ones is the FQA, or Final Quality Audit.  This is generally accepted as the last and final test to validate that all manufacturing processes have occurred properly. Sometimes, as a part of the FQA program, manufacturers may have a process referred to as an OBA, or Out of Box Audit.

The OBA is a tool the Axcient manufacturing team uses to identify potential customer issues when they receive the Axcient appliance.  We look for potential problems, confusion or issues that may arise once the product is in the hands of the customer. The team takes a unit from the production floor, just before it moves into inventory, and use it to conduct the OBA.  WE look at the entire process as if we were real customers. How is the product presented?  Are the accessories easy to access?  Is the most pertinent information easily identifiable and located?  How is the strength and security of the packaging itself?  When we find something that we don’t like, we fix it.
