2013 was a good year for Axcient: We received $20M in funding led by Scale Venture Partners and Thomvest Ventures with Peninsula Ventures and Allegis Capital participating; we grew our team to more than 100, with 28 in engineering alone; we closed 2013 with more than a dozen prestigious industry awards; we were recognized by Gartner as “Excellent” in their Critical Capabilities for Recovery-as-a-Service (RaaS) research in the Product Viability category; we dramatically increased our cloud transfer speed by 60x and we now have faster data protection with new block level replicator.>/p>
We believe that our brightest days are ahead and 2014 will be an even better year for us. We have a lot of innovative products (yes, products, not just features) to be released this year that will allow us to further exceed our customers’ needs. We are already starting this year strong with the following initiatives:
- Our AxOS 6.0.1 release at the end of January brings to market the Axcient Virtual Appliance that gives companies of all sizes an affordable way to leverage their existing investment in virtual environment to protect their data and applications.
- We will roll out our all-new Protect Flow that is completely redesigned to auto-discover your network for new devices, so that you can be protected in just a couple of clicks.
- The Axcient user interface will get a major facelift in the next couple of weeks, sporting a new look and feel with a cleaner design. We have always strived on bringing you the best experience with a design rooted in simplicity, precision, and effectiveness.
Here’s a big thank you to all of our customers for helping us grow at an amazing rate. Stay tuned for some exciting new product releases over the coming few months!
