What is the Client Executive Summary Report?
The Client Executive Summary Report is an in-depth, weekly report demonstrating your business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) services to stakeholders. It’s customizable and white-labelable, so you can include specific information and branding when presented to clients, insurance providers, and regulators.
- Get essential statistics like the total number of backups completed and the estimated recovery time objective (RTO).
- Add personalized comments about backup performance within the report.
- See a detailed view of each client’s protected systems, complete with a service-level agreement (SLA) history and AutoVerify (automated backup integrity testing) or Boot VM results.
Why Should You Care About the New Report?
Say goodbye to the long and frustrating process of manually screenshotting your backup tests and compiling a report that meets the needs of specific end users. Current Axcient partners will enjoy a broader overview of a client’s backup health beyond the Client Health Digest emails. Armed with the Client Executive Summary, MSPs and IT pros are empowered by automation and transparency.
- Save time, effort, and resources by automating your testing and recovery to generate client-specific analytics quickly and easily.
- Eliminate error-prone manual reporting that can compromise client relationships, cyber liability insurance, state regulations, and SLAs.
- Simplify reporting to reduce tech debt, increase reporting frequency, and better understand your protected systems, vulnerabilities, and client needs.
Automated Summary Reporting Now Available!
In June of 2025, the Axcient team released an exciting update to the x360Recover Executive Summary Report. Users can now schedule this report to be sent automatically on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis to their clients. This has been one of our most requested features since the initial launch of the report, and we delivered what our partners asked for.
You can now schedule their Executive Summary Reports to be sent out to clients or stakeholders automatically on a recurring basis through our new ‘Scheduled Delivery’ functionality. This helps eliminate the administrative burden of manually generating, downloading, and emailing reports on a monthly basis.
How Do You Leverage the Client Executive Summary Report?
Consistent and reliable reporting provides MSPs and IT teams with more opportunities beyond time and labor savings. Unlike other solution providers, Axcient’s Client Executive Summary Report is reliable — no more missing or insufficient data with pre-made “out of the box” reporting. Instead, take advantage of unobstructed insights.
With…
- Proof of backup test frequency and health using Boot VM screenshots to verify backup integrity.
- AutoVerify automatic backup verification demonstrates when and how backup integrity tests are performed.
You can…
- Show your value to clients and stakeholders with evidence of your services and support in protecting their infrastructure, data, and business continuity that may not be obvious.
- Simplify the process of regular business reviews with automatic, client, and protected system-specific reporting that is easily understood.
- Initiate upsell and cross-sell discussions based on infrastructure vulnerabilities, opportunities to reinforce cybersecurity, and CYA when clients blame you for an incident rather than deciding not to follow your guidance.
- Create marketing and sales strategies highlighting advanced reporting as a differentiator from competitors that bolsters BCDR, provides transparency, and supports cyber insurance, state regulation, and breach notification requirements.
- Meet cyber insurance requirements that demand proof of regular, automatic backup testing to maintain insurance at the lowest premiums possible.
How Can I Access Robust Reports?
Lucky for existing x360Recover partners, the Client Executive Summary Report is available through the x360 Portal. Log in to the management portal, click the “Reports” tab, and select “Executive Summary” at the top of the page. For quality assurance, manually send the report to your yourself to review before scheduling it to go out. This removes the chance of sending something you didn’t want to share. When you are comfortable, you can opt to use the ‘Scheduled Delivery’ function to have the report sent automatically.
