Featured MSP Xperience Keynote Speaker: Rachel Tobac
Rachel Tobac is a hacker and the CEO of SocialProof Security, where she helps people and companies keep their data safe by training and pen-testing them on social engineering risks. Rachel was also the second-place winner of DEF CON’s wild spectator sport – the Social Engineering Capture the Flat contest, three years in a row.
Rachel has shared her real-life social engineering stories with NPR, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, The New York Times, CNN, NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, and many more. In her spare time, Rachel sits on the CISA Technical Advisory Council. She is also the Chair of the Board for the nonprofit Women in Security and Privacy (WISP), where she works to advance women’s leadership in the fields.
How I Would Hack You and Your Clients: Live!
Join Rachel as she exposes hackers’ tactics to breach security through everyday interactions like emails and calls. Rod Mathews, the CEO of Axcient, brings nearly 30 years of experience in the technology industry to his role. Before joining Axcient in 2022, Rod held significant leadership positions at Barracuda Networks, overseeing corporate development and leading the Data Protection business. His tenure there was marked by successful product launches and strategic acquisitions. Rod is passionate about leveraging Axcient’s strengths to empower MSPs with innovative data protection and disaster recovery solutions. Outside of work, Rod is a Julliard-trained tuba player who once played professionally and now plays for fun.

Rod’s presentation focuses on the hybrid cloud’s evolving role in business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR).
