Women of the Channel – Sara Ehrich – Austin Nominee
As part of an initiative to engage more women in the technology community, The Channel Company has put together a roadshow of regional summits, Women of The Channel On the Road, to celebrate and connect women who are involved in the channel. In the spirit of community, Axcient launched a parallel program to sponsor women in Austin and Denver to attend these summits and benefit from the content and comradery provided. Meet Sara, a winning nominee for this weeks Austin event:
Sara Ehrich started with Hill Country Tech Guys the year it was founded, 2006, as a part-time bookkeeper, while maintaining her position as a youth minister. As the business grew, the necessity for an Office Manager was evident, and Sara joined the team full-time in 2012. She used her experience with cultivating teams, and organization to help the business double in size her first year. Since then, she has not stopped challenging her knowledge and professional growth to empower HCTG, and the people she works with, to grow to their fullest potential. Sara was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2017, and certainly found her stride in business development. Along with work, her family of five plays hard with camping and traveling. They stay busy with three boys; ages 9, 8, and 3.
