Axcient x360 Open APIs
Axcient is utilizing REST APIs, a popular type of web interface that lets integrators communicate with business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) services. REST APIs can quickly and securely serve MSPs, integrators, and other vendors with protected and confidential data. For example, public APIs let MSPs centralize Axcient and external data on reporting tools to deliver a unified view of all protected systems. Technicians can build on existing APIs to seamlessly integrate an MSP’s BCDR tech stack by pulling information from Axcient x360.

API access for x360Recover is available now for:
- MSP Partner Integrator – Your own instance of Axcient x360
- Solutions Integrator – Extend the functionality of Axcient x360 to your own product
x360Cloud Public APIs
API access for x360Cloud is now open! Learn more on the Axcient Knowledgebase, and get the details on generating and managing API keys.
As part of this initial phase, the Public API for x360Cloud will focus exclusively on GET commands, providing partners with capabilities to:
- Retrieve Backup Data: Access backup configurations and status information effortlessly.
- Monitor Backup Health: Monitor and track backup statuses for each client to gain visibility into the health and performance of your backups.
- Enable Custom Reporting: Extract actionable data to integrate into your existing workflows and systems.
Billing API
We’re thrilled to announce the release of our Billing API, now part of our growing list of Public APIs alongside the x360Recover API! This API provides billable and actual usage across the entire x360 suite, enabling integrations that power invoices, summary reports, and more. Documentation for the Billing API is now available at developer.axcient.com for you to explore.

ConnectWise and Axcient Integration
We’re keeping our promise to deepen the integration with ConnectWise by extending our platform integrations. The ConnectWise Asio platform is already integrated with Axcient’s x360Recover, and we have now added support for x360Cloud. We are focused on expanding the capabilities of the Axcient x360 platform and the Asio platform integration to take advantage of AI, workflow, additional operating systems, and devices such as NAS and BDR appliances. With a deeper integration, MSPs will be able to do more with their BCDR, which reduces the need to bounce between tools in their tech stack and automates manual time spent by their techs and engineers.
Partners can manage their Axcient backups in their ConnectWise dashboard by directly integrating x360Recover with ConnectWise Asio. This exciting integration ties the two systems together so MSPs can view the details of their x360Recover-protected systems and health status information in the ConnectWise Asio dashboard. Integrate to:
- Simplify oversight and map clients between each system
- Control labor costs and to offload the time, effort, and complexities of BDR management
- Tailor your BDR hardware with BYOD capabilities or turn-key bundled Axcient appliances
- Leverage Co-Managed Backup with ConnectWise NOC services and expertise to simplify BDR monitoring and management
MSPs can also take advantage of the x360Cloud and ConnectWise Asio integration to retrieve backup data to access backup configurations and status information effortlessly. The integration also enables custom reporting to extract actionable data to integrate into your existing workflows and systems. The integration lets MSPs:
- Map x360Cloud Organizations to ConnectWise Companies
- Send x360Cloud SLA data to Backup360 in the Asio platform
- Monitor backup health to track backup statuses for each client to gain visibility into the health and performance of your backups
Co-Managed Backup
MSPs who want to offload the complexity of BDR management can leverage the ConnectWise Co-Managed Backup service featuring Axcient x360Recover, supported by professional services and the ConnectWise Network Operations Center (NOC). Co-managed backup service customers can eliminate up to 80% of the labor associated with backups—including planning, deployment, management, testing, support, and problem resolution.

PSA Integrations
x360Recover
You can choose to integrate the x360Recover Manager (RMC) with the PSA tools, allowing alerts that originate in x360Recover to be pushed to your PSA, allowing you to manage and monitor all events from one location. PSA integrations include ConnectWise and Autotask.
Partners can:
- Integrate Autotask with x360Recover Manager (RMC)
- Integrate ConnectWise with x360Recover Manager (RMC)
- Configure ConnectWise for an appliance or vault for x360Recover

x360Cloud
You can integrate x360Cloud with ConnectWise as well. x360Cloud users can:
- Specify ConnectWise Service defaults
- Configuring the PSA settings
- Enabling PSA ticketing

x360Sync
If you use ConnectWise as your PSA platform, you can optionally integrate this platform with x360Sync in the following ways:
- Track alerts that originate in x360Sync
- Systematize your billing process related to the number of accounts, total storage, or whether File Server Enablement is being utilized
These integration options allow you to manage important customer information in ConnectWise, decreasing the time required to track events and manage billing tasks and reducing the margin for human error.
